Terms & Conditions of Sale

By placing an order with Strathmore Interiors, you are acknowledging your acceptance of the following terms and conditions contained herein.

Orders & Payment

When placing an order through Strathmore Interiors Website, the Customer must accept the General Terms & Conditions. By accepting the General Terms & Conditions, the Customer is complying with General Terms & Conditions terms and conditions and acknowledges that they have read the information on personal data and cookies and consents to the use according to Strathmore Interiors Privacy Policy.

Once the Customer's order has been confirmed by Strathmore Interiors via an email, a purchase agreement will be raised. Customers are entitled to cancel orders up until their order has been confirmed by Strathmore Interiors, but not after. If the Customer cancels their order, Strathmore Interiors will refund all payments made in regard to the order.

Strathmore Interiors accepts payment via credit card and PayPal. Strathmore Interiors is able to offer accounts for commercial clients. To learn more about Strathmore Interiors trade accounts, please contact the team via the Contact Page. All prices of the Website are shown in AUD and include GST. Prices do not include shipping as this is shown separately.

Customer Information

Customers are able to register user accounts and/or place an order via the Website. When creating an account or placing an order, the Customer will be required to provide some personal information. It is the responsibility of the Customer to ensure the information provided is legitimate and without errors. Information regarding the handling of personal data by Strathmore Interiors in set out in Strathmore Interiors' Privacy Policy.

It is the responsibility of the Customer to ensure that no one, expect the Customer uses their login details. The Customer must not disclose their username or password to any person and should ensure their personal details are stored where they can only be accessed by the Customer. Should the Customer suspect that their personal privacy has been violated, they should contact Strathmore Interiors immediately and have their account shut down. The Customer is responsible for all purchases made with their login details if the Customer has not notified Strathmore Interiors otherwise.

If Strathmore Interiors suspects the Customer or a third party source has abused an account of Strathmore Interiors, Strathmore Interiors are entitled to block access to the user account. In addition, Strathmore Interiors are also able to assign a new user login to Customers. 

Special Offers

From time to time Strathmore Interiors may run special offers/discounts on the Website. Strathmore Interiors requires the right to end such offers at anytime. Upon withdrawal or termination of offer the General Terms & Conditions will apply without any amendments. When special offers are run by Strathmore Interiors prices with be clearly stated on product pages and at the Checkout.

Delivery & Shipping

We estimate 5-10 working days for delivery. Products are delivered to Customer within the stated time on the product page, at the Checkout or on the Order Confirmation sheet. Should the delivery take longer that advised, please contact our Customer Service team no longer than 30 days after the order was placed. If agreed on by both the Customer and Strathmore Interiors, Customer is entitled to cancel their order if it takes more than 30 days to be delivered. Strathmore Interiors ships Australia wide. Shipping costs are shown on the Product Page and/or at the Checkout.

Delivery and re-delivery fees are non-refundable. Australia Post, Star Track, FEDEX and DHL are our preferred freight services. The freight service used will be determined based on what the Customer orders and whether delivery is required to a Metro or Regional location.  

Production Times

Strathmore Interiors print in-house and dispatch orders on average 2-3 business days after order is received. If order is delayed the Customer will be notified by the Strathmore Interiors Customer Service team. 

Product Variation

Different Computer/Device screens may show the colours of images differently, as a result the colours in the image may vary slightly from the colours of final products received. If the Customer is concerned about this, Strathmore Interiors recommends to order a wallpaper sample to see what the printed result will look like.

Strathmore Interiors wallpaper is a DIY product, if the Customer is not confident installing the wallpaper, Strathmore Interiors highly recommend installation by an experienced professional. 

It is the responsibility of the Customer to read the installation and wall preparation instructions when their order is received. Should the wallpaper/poster print not be applied correctly, the lifespan and/or product quality made be affected. 

Application and Removal of Wallpapers

The Customer will receive mounting and wall preparation instructions with their wallpaper order. It is important that the wall preparation and application instructions are followed to ensure optimum results, and to  avoid any damage to your wall. Please see the Strathmore Interiors' FAQ page for further information.

Not all wall surfaces are suitable for wallpaper and it is the responsibility of the Customer to ensure the material is correct. To ensure your wall surface is compatible with the wallpaper stocks, Strathmore Interiors encourages the purchase of a sample swatch. Strathmore Interiors is not liable for any loss or damage arising from incorrect use of the product on application or removal. Strathmore Interiors cannot guarantee that our product can be removed from all surfaces without lifting paint or damaging the wall.

Returns & Refunds

Please ensure that you choose your product carefully as we do not refund or exchange based on a change of heart for the purchase by the Customer. If your order arrives damaged or not as described, Strathmore Interiors with work with the Customer to ensure the order is replaced or refunded. 

Damaged products should be reported by the Customer within 48hrs of delivery and should include photographs and a written description of the order damage and undamaged portions. Customer should retain the original packaging and your receipt. Customer will be required to hold the product until your dispute has been resolved. The product needs to remain unused and in the same condition as received in. 

Once Strathmore Interiors have received your email, the Customer Service team will be in contact to resolve the issue and provide help regarding next steps. If the order is deemed damaged the Customer will be issued with a replacement of a part, all of your order, or a refund depending on the situation. Each order will be received on a case by case basis. Strathmore Interiors do not allow exchanges.

Strathmore Interiors do not accept any returns without a request and acknowledgement via email. The Customer Service team will let the Customer know if they require the order be returned after a full assessment. Strathmore Interiors will refuse a damaged return if the Customer has not provided an email notification and appropriate corresponding photographs within the specified time period after receiving the order. If product is not returned within 30 days of the request Strathmore Interiors will not issue a replacement.
